CONTESTANT APPLICATION FORM for Mr. Golden State Bear / Cub 2009-10

Please fill out ALL fields! Deadline for applications is August 7th, 2009.

Requirements and Duties of Contestants:

•Must be a biological male 21+ of age on August 14, 2009;

•Must reside in "the Valley" roughly between Stockton and Bakersfield, including both cities, and mountainous areas. If you have a question whether you're eligible, contact Bryce;

•Must appear & mingle at Meet & Greet located at the Den, starting at 8PM and ending at midnight on Friday, August 14

•Must appear at Pool Party located at 4710 E. Brown in Fresno on Saturday, August 15 from 12-5PM.  At the Pool Party, you will be interviewed by judges and sell raffle tickets.

•Must participate in the Frenzy Contest on stage located at the Den from 9PM-midnight on Saturday, August 15.

•Should you complete all the above tasks, we will pay for your breakfast at our Farewell Brunch located at Yosemite Falls Cafe on Sunday, August 16 11AM-1PM.  You will also receive Golden State Bears membership for the remainder of the year and also during the entire year of 2010.

The first part of judging is the interview during the pool party. In addition, judging on stage will be done in 3 categories, which include:

Casual Wear - what you wear when you are hanging out with friends
Formal Wear - let's see how well you "clean up" (tux? suit? uniform?)
Bear Minimum - what you wear to show off that hot body

You may incorporate items representing "Beary Tales" theme for extra points into any of your outfits!

I agree to allow the Golden State Bears to use my full name and photographs in any media.  I understand I am required to be present and participate at Friday’s Meet & Greet on August 14 8PM, Saturday Pool Party on August 15 starting at 12PM, Saturday Contest on August 15 starting at 9PM.  As part of one of my duties of contestant is selling raffle tickets at the Saturday, August 15 pool party.  Should I win, I will receive a medallion with my name and title engraved.  I will also receive a title trophy that I agree to pass  on to the next year's winner.  I will participate in the Golden State Bears events to the best of my ability and assist in fund raising.  Additionally, I will represent the Golden State Bears at International Bear Rendezvous in San Francisco in February 2010, should my IBR contestant application be accepted.
