Friday August 20, 2004
Meat and Greet Party
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Den
Come join us at our home bar, The Den, and
meet the other guys attending Bear Frenzy. We will have food, fun games, and
drink specials. Meet the contestants for Mr. Golden State Bear 2004-05, buy
some raffle tickets and maybe win a prize. The Den is located at 4538 E.
Belmont Street. This is a FREE event!
Saturday August 21, 2004
Pool Party
Noon to 5 p.m.
Join us for one of our famous pool parties!
Lot’s of food, raffle prizes, Tarot Card Readings from Avis, Massages by Damon,
and a great way to spend the day! The price is $10 for members (who must also
bring a potluck dish) and $12 for non-members. Food, water and sodas are
included in the admission price. Beer is on sale for $1.00 a cup. The party
will be held at
4710 E. Brown Ave. in Fresno.
Mr. Golden State Bear 2004-05 Contest
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the North Tower Circle
Night Club

Come watch the contestants vie to represent
the Golden State Bears at International Bear Rendezvous in San Francisco in
February 2005, as well as throughout the year at local events. Our Master of
Ceremonies, Bobaloo will have you laughing the whole evening long, and our other
entertainment will definitely make this an enjoyable evening. More raffle
prizes will be awarded as well. Avis will also be here to do more Tarot Card
readings. Applications are available to run for Mr. Golden State Bear at The
Den, at a club meeting, at any GSB event, as well as from any club officer.
Application deadline is Monday August 16th. This is a free event for
Golden State Bear members and $5 for non-members.

Brunch
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deja Vu Club, 708 N
Blackstone Ave.
Finish up Bear Frenzy weekend with a hearty,
delicious brunch fit for a BEAR! Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Fruit,
Pastries and much more. Brunch is $12 for members and $15 for non-members.
This will also be your last chance to claim any raffle prizes you may have won
throughout the weekend.

ONLY! There will be a very limited number of tickets available Friday
at the Meet & Greet and Saturday at the Pool Party, available at first come,
first serve basis!

We will be having a
program for the weekend and are selling advertising space to businesses,
individuals, and anyone interested in advertising with us. The rates are as

RAFFLE PRIZE
DONATIONS
The Golden State Bears
will be soliciting donations of items for our raffle. All money raised from the
raffle will go into the Golden State Bears Charity Fund to be disbursed in
December to charities voted on by the members of the club. Last year, the club
donated to The Matthew Shepard Foundation, Pediatric AIDS at Valley Children’s
Hospital, The Lavender Prom for Gay Youth in Fresno, The Multiple Sclerosis
Foundation, and The American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research.
Any business that
donates $50 in prizes will be able to get a FREE Quarter Page Ad in our Bear
Frenzy Program. Also, anyone who donates a raffle prize will have their name
listed in the program, as well as displayed at the weekend’s events. This is
our way of showing those in attendance that your business supported the Golden
State Bears and Bear Frenzy X!
